Pumpkin Ponche de Creme
Pumpkin Ponche de creme is just another version of the popular christmas drink Ponche de Creme from the island of Trinidad and Tobago

Ingredients
- 1 cup pureed pumpkin you can use canned or fresh pumpkin
- 1 can evaporated milk (12 ounces)
- 2 cups whole milk
- 3/4 – 1 can condensed milk (12 ounces)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence you can use a mixture of vanilla and almond extract
- 1/2 teaspoon angostura bitters optional
- 3/4 cup white rum any rum will do
Instructions
- Add pumpkin, both milks , dry spices and blend well, add essence, bitters and rum and blend until nice and smooth. Place in your refrigerator until ready to use, best serve wuth crush ice.Garnish with a sprinkling of grated nutmeg
